Black Seeds Bloom Artists Collective (previously Black Voices United), is an inclusive artist collective that celebrates and empowers the creative experiences through the African Diaspora. By providing a nurturing environment for artists to fully develop their craft and explore healing through their work, Black Seeds Bloom recognizes the importance of centering Black truth in all aspects of their endeavors.

Committed to diversity and creating safe spaces for the multiplicity of Black identities, we are dedicated to the holistic development and success of its members and communities, aiming to empower and uplift their individual visions and experiences.

Who We Are

Our leaders bring unique experiences and perspectives to our work, while also creating representation for a variety of artists to see themselves in our organization. BVU leaders are ever-evolving, focused on self- development, healing, and bringing their best selves to our work always.

CJ "MadamCJda3rd"

was born and raised on occupied Ohlone lands and was reborn in Ghana. As a multi-dimentional creator specializing in radical care, CJ is a 300-hour trained Yoga teacher with certifications in Vinyasa, Trauma-Informed, Yoga Nidra, Pre and Post-Natal Yoga, and Yoga for Anxiety. Additionally, CJ is a multimedia artist with a portfolio of poetry, videography, and cultivating positive events.

Maati Makee - Tamiel

is a writer, healer, and activist. Exploring the fullness of their experience and their purpose as a leader. Tamiel is here to create change through their creativity starting with "Self" first
